The function area was really nice, a perfect space for getting everyone together for a birthday celebration. The best function space we could find in the area. The staff were so friendly and welcoming which made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. Amazing options of different sharing platters to meet all dietary needs also. I would definitely recommend this venue and I’ll definitely be back soon.

The Bar & Bistro

Went to the archer today for the first time, food & service was amazing, pints even better! Play area for the kids, Poole table and dartboard for us, all round great day! Will definitely be back!

Came in one Friday for a date night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sat in the bar area which had a great vibe, had some food from the bar menu and from the regular menu. All was ready pretty quickly and tasted great. It was reasonably quiet as we were early but the staff all were flat out cleaning and making sure the place was up and running. The manager Harriet came and checked in with us and made sure we were having a good time and the food was all OK. Great experience, highly recommend.

Absolute-ly beautiful venue. Food was amazing, great customer service from the staff. Our favorite part was the kids play area. Children had a great time enjoying the toys. Our function went off without a hitch beautiful room and was greatly support by the staff. The owner is a crack up soul with a great energy as he welcomed us to his beautiful venue.

We popped into The Archer today and loved it! The lamb koftas were absolutely delicious, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Service was super friendly and attentive from start to finish. Well worth the trip from Auckland, we’ll definitely be back!

Loooove The Archer! This has been our fave local since we moved to the Coast 4 years ago. We love & Miss Danny – but he can be genuinely proud that the amazing business he created has continued on to the best place for a bite on the Coast with the new owner. Coming in for their amazing eye fillet steak feels like coming home when we’ve got people like Mitch & Harriet greeting us. Love you guys!
